The world's most popular bike manufacturer company DUCATI produced a bike in 2003 named Multistrada which is a 4 in 1 bike. Multistrada is a on road- off road bike, you can use it as a sports bike and also in heavy traffic in city as well as for long distance journey. The italian meaning of the name Multistrada is "MANY ROADS" which means it can run on any kind of road

Multistrada Models
The Multistrada 1000DS was released in 2003. There were two basic Ducati Multistrada models in 2005, the 1000DS and the 620. There was also the 620 Dark entry model. For 2007 there are the Multistrada 1100 and 1100S models.

Engine Modes
The bike offers four engine power modes, Sport, Touring, Urban and Enduro. Riders can change power modes with the motorcycle underway by using the turn-signal cancel button. Sport and Touring modes provide the full 150bhp with the Touring mode providing a softer throttle response.

Urban and Enduro reduce horsepower to 100bhp and provide different levels of ABS and traction control accordingly. Riders also have the option of customizing any of these modes by changing the horsepower, throttle response, ABS and traction control levels using menu items inside the instrument cluster.
